I work with methods from the field of computational cognitive neuroscience with a focus on functional neuroimaging.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/titoschmi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2024_01_CV_TimoTorstenSchmidt_en.pdf\">2024_01_CV_TimoTorstenSchmidt_en<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/titoschmi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/2024_01_Publikationsliste_TimoTorstenSchmidt_en.pdf\">2024_01_Publikationsliste_TimoTorstenSchmidt_en<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In my research I focus on :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the mental representation of <strong>consciousness content<\/strong> (working memory and mental imagery)<\/li>\n<li>mechanisms underlying <strong>altered states of consciousness<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I am currently working\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewi-psy.fu-berlin.de\/einrichtungen\/arbeitsbereiche\/neurocom_neuroimag\/team\/DoktorandInnen\/t_schmidt\/index.html\">@Neurocomputation and Neuroimaging Unit (NNU), Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin<\/a>\u00a0and conduct my research <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ewi-psy.fu-berlin.de\/en\/v\/ccnb\/index.html\">@the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I am an advocate of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Open_science\">Open Science<\/a> and would like to foster that scientific findings are made publicly available. I was part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikiversity.org\/wiki\/Wikiversity:Fellow-Programm_Freies_Wissen\/Fellows\">Fellow Programm Offenen Wissen<\/a> (Open knowledge), within which I developed\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.asdb.info\">the Altered States Database<\/a>\u00a0(ASDB).
